We are looking for an experienced, strong, robust PA who has good knowledge (Pensions preferably) who will thrive in a busy role.

About the role

Reporting into an Assistant Secretarial Services Manager you will be responsible for complex diary and email management as well as managing confidential documentation across the CMS network. You will be expected to build relationships with internal and external clients and handle all issues in a professional and calm manner.

Other tasks will include, but are not limited to;

  • Collating documentation for meetings and circulating agendas in advance; carrying out research as may be required
  • Booking attendance at conferences/seminars (including national and international travel) and organising trip itineraries and logistics
  • Acting as 1st-Line IT support for any basic IT queries raised by fee-earners
  • Printing of agendas, presentations and meetings papers specific to allocated partners/fee-earners
  • Working with the Business Development Team as required, to include helping produce tenders, credential sheets, events, pitches etc as well as small marketing events
  • Coaching and mentoring of more junior team members including Junior Secretaries, Float Secretaries and Administrators
This is a 12 months fixed term contract.
About you

As a Legal PA joining a large international firm you will have substantial experience in working within a busy corporate environment, preferably a law firm but other industries will be considered. You will have excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to adapt your communication style whether it is to support clients or your team members.

You will be flexible and adaptable with a good aptitude for using your initiative. Someone who is comfortable in a busy role but confident to delegate to juniors and supporting teams, ensuring you are working as effectively as possible for the Partners you are supporting.

We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic individual with a high level of IT literacy. Someone who can remain calm under pressure and who has worked in a fast paced role.About us
