Purchase Ledger - 12 Month Contract - £20,000 - £24,000 - Award Winning & Well Established Business

Your new company
My client a well established and award winning family run business based in Stonehouse is currently recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Clerk. This is a full-time position available initially on a fixed term contract for 12 months in order to cover maternity leave.

Your new role
This position has developed in order to support the purchase ledger department with all aspects of purchase ledger maintenance. Your key responsibilities will include; scanning invoices onto the accounting system, sorting supplier statements and delivery notes, matching purchase orders to goods received, coding invoices, processing the payment runs, query resolution and providing support with ad hoc duties as requested by the financial controller.

What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will have previous experience working in a similar purchase ledger role. It is essential that you have the ability to work to strict deadlines whilst ensuring a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
