We have an exciting opportunity not to be missed at Premier Coffee Limited for an Assistant Manager to join the team based in Bognor Regis. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis and will receive a competitive £8.65 to £9 per hour depending on experience!

Reporting to the Store Manager, as our Assistant Manager, you will take responsibility for the day to day running of the store and in the Store Managers absence ensure that all tasks are completed to deliver great coffee to our customers all of the time.

Key responsibilities of the Assistant Manager:

- Lead the store team in all aspects of delivering the best coffee experience to every guest

- Ensure all cash & stock is kept secure and that all necessary action is taken to ensure the handover of stock & cash is done in a secure manner

- Manage the stock and order systems for food & consumables ensuring that the store has 100%supply of items for the customer whilst delivering budgeted margins/target

- Ensure the store is opened and closed adhering to all Costa standards, policies & procedures

- Ensure that all brand standards are delivered throughout the shift to ensure complete customer satisfaction-completing all relevant COSTA check, standards, food & health and safety checks and taking all necessary remedial action or escalating as required

- Train & coach team members as required to support them in delivering their roles effectively

- Communicate on a daily basis with the team

- Undertake the role of Capo di Café as required

- Deal with and resolve customer complaints in line with company policy/procedures

- Monitor the store KPI report and translate it into daily action as required

- Support the Store manager in organising and delivering team meetings

- Implement marketing updates and new POS as directed by the Store manager

- Complete team member one to ones as directed by the store manager

- Ensure the effective control of labour and that every team member is deployed in an appropriate manner

- Perform all tasks as defined in the Barista & Barista Maestros job description

Experience and skills required of our Assistant Manager

- Worked within a customer facing environment

- Supervisory experience

- Worked in hospitality/retail industry (Desirable)

- Enthusiasm to execute outstanding customer service

- Reliable/Committed – delivery of shifts

- Flexible/Committed

- Shows initiative
