Service Co-ordinator - Established Charity (Part Time) Milford Haven or Crosshands (with travel throughout Ceredigion) £7.99 per hour Our client is an innovative not-for-profit organisation that helps to make life better for older people in the UK. They believe that everybody should matter, regardless of how old they are. They are now looking for a part time Service Co-ordinator to join their team in Milford Haven or Crosshands. If you have experience of working with volunteers or volunteer-led support groups, this is a superb opportunity to take on a challenging, yet highly rewarding role. In this important position, you will have the chance to broaden your existing abilities and facilitate the success of services that are transforming lives on a daily basis. As a Service Co-ordinator, you will support the smooth delivery of our client’s transportation service, in partnership with Ceredigion County Council. In this key role, you’ll support a service that provides car transportation for Ceredigion residents. The service aims to reduce isolation and provide residents with support for essential journeys. Specifically, you will: - Deliver a service that supports older people to maintain their connection to their local community - Ensure that the service is delivered in-line with our client’s objectives - Recruit, train and manage office-based volunteers and Drivers Interested? To be considered, you must have: - Experience of working with volunteers and/or volunteer-led support groups - Previous experience of co-ordinating community activities or services - Proficiency in industry standard IT systems, such as MS Office, email and the internet - A full, valid driving licence and access to your own vehicle Adaptable and flexible, as a Service Co-ordinator, you must be a clear communicator with excellent multi-tasking skills. A team player mentality and strong prioritisation abilities are also key. This is a part time role, working 16 hours per week.
