Customer Service Representative
Customer Service Representative (Technical) 18 Month Contract - £20,000 - £22,000 per annum My client is a leading manufacturer of mechanical equipment for the emergency services market. The Customer Service Representative will be responsible for answering customer inquiries, managing complaints to resolution, processing orders and shipments, resolving warranty claims and providing technical support. Reporting to the Customer Care Manager you will be responsible for professionally interacting with customers and stakeholders via the telephone, in person, email or other written or verbal methods. Primary Responsibilities: Assist customers in the selection and application of products. Process orders revived by mail, phone, fax, email etc. Respond to customer inquiries regarding orders, price and parts. Handling requests for replacing defective parts. Managing warranty claims through the in-house warranty process. Escalate technical support requests to the Production Manages, Engineers etc. To be considered for the Customer Service Representative role you will ideally have / possess: Possess a solid level of customer service experience / strong customer service background (Essential) Ideally possess customer technical support work experience (Desirable) Have worked in the manufacturing industry (Essential) Proven success at providing best in class customer service (Essential) Effective time management skills along with strong interpersonal skills (Essential) Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Essential) Communicate effectively with internal / external stakeholders (Essential) Manufacturing Workforce are responsible for placing skilled and in demand people on both a permanent and contract basis into the Engineering, Technical and Manufacturing sectors, from skilled Shop Floor Personnel and Specialist Engineers to Supervisory and Management positions.
