Our client, part of a global technology-focused investment firm with offices in Boston, Silicon Valley and Israel, is seeking a Professional Services Engineer to be responsible for the management of all technical aspects of the implementation and support of our client’s various systems. The tasks involve planning, design, implementation and support. The PSE works together with Project Managers, R&D, and other team members to fulfill the tasks and requirements of the company projects. The PSE works closely with customers from early after receiving the project order and throughout the entire projects’ life cycle.. The key responsibilities of this role are: · Design solutions architectures. · Installation and configuration of our client’s bespoke software and hardware solutions remotely and at customer’s site, while following defined methodology, processes, system requirements and customer specific needs. · Configure and customize the system as per the customer business and technical needs. · Perform site integration with external systems · Produce and execute Site Acceptance Test Procedures · Perform operational assimilation of the system · Analyse and manage operational and technical issues raised by the customer · Provide on-site or in-house training and training materials on the customer’s solution · Learn and understand the Rail Network SOPs · Implement and test the required system business logic and workflow · Manage and maintain the company test environments · Act as the technical focal point for customer queries related to technical and operational aspects All applicants must have the following qualifications, experience and technical skills to be considered for this role: · 3 – 5 years experience in customer facing jobs (Field Engineering, customer support). · Technically adept in IT technologies: o Windows servers Installation and Configuration o Microsoft administration – Active Directory, Security Policies, Hardening, Encryption o Virtual Servers - VMWare – ESX, VSX Clusters, VMotion o Citrix Servers – Configuration and Optimization. o Microsoft SQL Server Installation and Configuration. o Maintenance – Backups and Recovery, SQL Agent, Analysis Services. o Scripting – Basic Query and Update knowledge · CCTV installation Experience · Audio/Video Streaming over LAN/WAN networks · Knowledge of Rail operations, SOPs, and workflows · Experience working with our client’s Operation Management solutions · Strong analysis and problem solving skills · Excellent English Closing date for the receipt of applications is Thursday 3 May 2018.
