Claims Handler - Third Party Impact

An exciting opportunity has arisen with our client who, for the second time running, have been listed on The Sunday Times 100 Best Companies To Work For. Our client is looking for talented claims handlers to assist in managing and settling third party claims. Providing excellent customer service, ensuring that each claim is handled with care and managed effectively from start to finish.

Key Accountabilities:

    Negotiate and settle portfolio of third party impact claimsUnderstands the weekly and monthly targets of the team and how this affects overall financial performance of the companyDeal with complaints in accordance with company complaints policyActively seeks to develop oneself and takes responsibility for own training and developmentHas knowledge and a clear understanding of company policies and proceduresHave a positive attitude to changes and business development


    Quality focused role - providing quality services to all insurer client and customersTeam focused - working with colleagues throughout the business to produce quality outcomes and meet business objectivesReactive - Responds to varying workload as dictated by team leaderPro-active - Ensuring SLA's & KPI's are metCompetent use of technology

Qualifications and Experience:

    Candidates require GCSE's or equivalentGood working knowledge of all operations systems and ACCESSGood negotiation skills

Core Competencies:

    Claims management experience preferred (but not a necessity)Excellent organisational skillsGood communication - both written and oralGood IT skillsAbility to remain focused during extremely busy periods

Hours of work:

9:00am - 5:30pm Monday to Friday (unless discussed with interviewer)
