Technical Support Engineer - Security
Technical Support Engineer - Security required for my client based near Chertsey for a permanent role, salary £24-28K. My client are a seeking a talented and adaptable Technical Support Engineer to join their team. You will be supporting Security products sold into the channel and full training will be provided on these. You are not expected to have any Security experience already - however any experience around Security products is highly desirable. Hours of work are 9am - 5:30pm, and my client has parking onsite. You will provide telephone, email and remote support to clients experiencing issues with Security products. Very occasionally there maybe the need to visit client sites. The ideal candidate will stem from a Managed Services background, or have been a Field Engineer previously. Experience in dealing with multiple sites / customers / networks is highly desirable. Candidates should have experience around as much of the following as possible: ·Experience working in a Helpdesk environment ·Strong verbal and written communication skills ·Windows 7-10 / Active Directory / Server 08-16 / Office365 / Exchange ·TCP/IP / DNS / DHCP / Firewalls / LAN / WAN / NAT ·Mac / Linux experience highly desirable ·Any existing Security experience - Anti-Malware / Firewalls / Virus removal highly desirable This is an excellent opportunity to move into the Security arena with a well established and expanding company.
