My client a leading Financial Services provider are seeking to recruit a Senior DevOps Engineer and you will bring the below skill set:

Key Responsibilities

 Working with Agile Delivery Managers and Technical Leads to define DevOps strategy and high-level roadmap
 Act as cultural and change lead for DevOps
 Implement tool and process change to meet the objectives of the DevOps strategy
 Define quality metrics and OKR’s for DevOps transformation
Work Experience
 Deep experience in the engineering function
 Commercial experience in high transaction and high platform availability business
 Experience working with offshore teams

Essential

 Significant experience working with Development teams and IT Infrastructure teams
 Understand performance engineering from design principles
 Have a broad range of SDLC experience including code coverage, architecture and CI/CD
 Performance tooling and testing experience, for example with JMeter
 Very strong containerisation, CI and Deployment tools : Chef, Puppet, Jenkins/Drone/Gitlab, Fabric 8, Kubernetes, Docker, Maven, Bamboo, etc
 Cloud Based Services such as AWS, Azure, Pivotal, and Google
 Experience with collaboration tools such as JIRA and Confluence
 Demonstrable coding experience in one or more of Ruby, C#, VB.NET, Java, JavaScript, Python, Scala, Groovy, VBScript etc.

Desirable skills

 Experience with or exposure to Agile and software development
 Test automation tools and experience of test automation
 Knowledge of the payments industry is a plus
