About Liberty:

Liberty Group is a national leader in gas servicing, maintenance and installation, alongside whole house property repairs and maintenance.

We provide complete property services to a broad range of social landlords, local authorities, commercial and public sector clients, a total of 220,000 properties.

We are looking to recruit a pricing assistant who can hit the ground running to deliver our continued growth strategy, within our business development team.

Role Overview:

This role involves completing the pricing of tender documents, whilst also measuring the commercial risk of tenders and providing the full and detailed commercial/financial summary to discuss at tender sign off.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

·Pricing work for all labour elements such as builders work, electrical installation, subcontract element and site preliminaries in line with pricing models and operational requirements in order to ensure alignment with the business development strategy.

·Identifying nonstandard tender requirements and escalating to the commercial manager in order to make sure you take into consideration the commercial impact.

·Support the ongoing improvement with pricing models to ensure flexibility with business needs and the external market.

·Calculate all estimated costs for overheads and profits in readiness for bid sign off with senior management team.

·Complete pricing of full tender document following build-up of model, posing queries to the client and working in conjunction with the bid team, assisting with quality response to ensure pricing and quality response is aligned.

·Preparation of detailed commercial/financial summary to enable discussion and potential sign off of tender proposal.

·Work cross functionally with a number of internal teams such as operations and procurement in order to ensure most competitive price.

·Build and maintain knowledge of pricing and delivering service, repair and installation contracts in order to implement best practice and continual improvement.

·Additional business requirements including supporting commercial activities such as cross checking sub-contractor invoices against achieved revenue.

Essential Skills & Experience:

Please note; role specific training will be provided

·Experience and skills in using ICT (predominately Microsoft Office suite – Excel)

·Numeracy and literacy skills

Desirable Skills & Experience:

·Experience of the OJEU procurement process (desirable)Personality and aptitude is regarded as being equally important for this role.

A full UK driving license is also required.
