A (temp to permanent ) credit control role, working in a fast paced and busy team, ideally suited to someone with a light hearted, positive and can do attitude.

You will be responsible for the larger key accounts, which means lots of query resolution so building and maintaining relationships is key.

Description

  • Act as first point of contact for the team, responding to customer account enquiries
  • Chasing overdue invoices by telephone, email & letter within agreed timescales
  • Ensure that debts are paid in a timely manner
  • Maintain accurate records for all account activity
  • Process and respond to incoming post on a daily basis
  • Administer customer credit/debit card payments
  • Post payments to accounts and allocate and undertake account reconciliations as required
  • Provide customers with copy documentation as requested
  • Send out monthly client statements for your own account base
  • Attendance at team meetings to address any issues and contribute new initiatives
  • General administrative duties to support the work of the team which includes filing, typing letters, memos, faxes and emails
  • Ensuring the banking is completed in a timely manner, as required
  • Provide cover for other accounting functions as requested
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of procedures to improve efficiency of the department through the development of relationships with own team members and other departments
  • Demonstrate a positive working style with an enthusiastic, committed and flexible attitude promoting the importance and benefits of effective team working
  • Ensure full compliance with all Company policies and procedures including health and safety and employment

Job Offer

9.00 - 17.00 hour lunch

20 days holiday(with the option to buy more after probation period)
