My client is a market leading, consumer technology business based in the Wiltshire area. They are currently seeking an experienced Credit Control Supervisor Manager to join their team on a Contract basis. Six months initially.This role would also suit a skilled Credit Control Team Leader or Supervisor who wants to take a step up into a Managerial role.You will oversee the Credit Control function for the UK and Europe, with responsibility for a team of 8 Collections staff. The successful candidate will need to drive and monitor A/R processes in a fast paced KPI driven environment, ensuring accurate cash flow forecasting and timely collections across a diverse portfolio of debtors.You will also hold overall responsibility for monitoring, reconciling and collating Ledger data in order to produce accurate periodic reporting with detailed commentary.Responsibilities:Oversee the credit control processes for all sales related debtorsManaging the timely collection of all debts in accordance with agreed Credit/Payment termsExamining A/R processes / implementing change and driving best practiceDeal with escalated billing queries or disputesCredit Insurance strategy, compliance and developmentEnsure that cash management processes are completed in a timely mannerProduce month-end reports on a timely basis with commentaryMonitor and drive Key Performance IndicatorsEnsure robust credit risk analysis, limit setting and review for new and existing customersStaff development. Providing coaching, mentoring, direction and guidanceThe Candidate:Proven experience as a Credit Manager, managing a fast paced and Global credit control functionIdeally CICM qualified or studying finalistMeasurable and demonstrable track record of motivating, mentoring and coaching diverse teams of collections staffA track record of adding real business value at strategic or operational levelA contagious enthusiasm for continuous improvement and consistently delivering the highest levels of performanceOutgoing, engaging personality and the ability to work with diverse business partnersBuilding strong relationships with internal and external stakeholdersSAP system experience at super-user levelKnowledge of Credit insurance processes is desirableAdvanced Excel skills for reportingThis is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Credit Manager to join a highly respected business in Wiltshire.The client is offering 27 days holiday plus pension and on-site parking.
