We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role of Cybersecurity Governance Metrics - Manager Reporting

Description

The role of the Cyber security Governance Metrics - Manager Reporting is work within HSBC Operations, Services & Technology. The role will evolve in response to developments in Cyber security and wider HSBC; the role holder is expected to maintain an awareness of developments and to identify solution requirements and secure approval by stakeholders.

The objective of the role is to:

  • Support the Head of Cyber security Governance, Metrics & Reporting in providing executive, board and committee level reporting on the performance of Cyber security across the Group, and on key topical reports as required. Includes working with specialists to ensure their contributions are delivered to time and quality, and preparing / reviewing reports with manager.
  • Work with stakeholders in Cyber security and across Businesses /Functions to continuously improve the reporting of key performance, risk and control indicators, and the preparation of reports. This includes ensuring a shared alignment to the business objective and identifying areas for improvement in process or data, and following the agreed initiatives to conclusion.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Work with colleagues and stakeholders to shape, prepare and review reports for senior audiences internally and externally.
  • Work with colleagues and stakeholders to identify, challenge and report on available data. Identify, propose, and if appropriate, implement with stakeholders improvements to data and processes that enable improved reporting and decision making.
  • Engage and collaborate with teams across Cyber security globally and other global businesses, global functions and HOST on deliverables.
  • Provide stakeholders with the required information/data, guidance and structure to enable their successful contribution.
  • Maintain close contact with global Cyber security colleagues on relevant activities to achieve consistency of approach and timelines.
  • Demonstrate commitment to Group policy for Cyber security, IT, Risk and wider HSBC; contribute to the maintenance and improvement of strategy, policy and process.
  • Take responsibility for professional and timely delivery of all deliverables.
  • Guide the development of expertise within the wider team to deliver solutions that align with global practice in Cyber security and wider HSBC.
  • Strengthen the management of operational risk, including its identification, assessment, mitigation and control, loss identification and reporting

Qualifications

  • Highly conceptual with strong analytical skills and problem solving skills;
  • A strong interest in driving improvements and overcoming challenges.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills; an ability to communicate with impact, ensuring complex information is articulated in a meaningful way to wide and varied audiences
  • Built effective networks across business areas, developing relationships based on mutual trust and encouraging others to do the same
  • Experience of creating and deploying comprehensive business/operating plans which consistently deliver desired results
  • A broad understanding of financial budgets/statements/models, with experience of analysing data effectively for planning, forecasting and reporting
  • A comprehensive understanding of risk management and proven experience of ensuring own/others' compliance with relevant regulatory processes

The base location of this role will be London.
