With a long heritage of providing transport services across road & rail, my client is a well-known transport operator that are experiencing a period of strong growth, which has led to the creation of new opportunities within their IT Shared Service team.
We are currently looking for a customer-focused Helpdesk Support team member that will be the primary point of contact for all users within the UK. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an industry leader in a strong period of growth, and for someone who wants to develop within the transport industry
Key responsibilities;
* Primary point of contact for all users with IT support requirements across 6 sites in the UK
* Timely and accurate logging/priorities of calls, and their assignment to the relevant members of staff
* Routinely updating users of progress, updating call logs accurately
* Producing various reports on a scheduled and ad hoc basis to aid in the smooth running and improved performance of the team
* Maintain accurate and up to date records on the in-house system (training provided)
Key requirements;
* Technical qualification in Computer Systems and/or recognized IT qualifications to diploma level
* Customer Service background within an IT setting is preferred
* Strong communication skills - verbal & written
* Strong IT skills
* Able to work to strict targets & deadlines
