Account Manager – Cirencester - £17,000 + £5,500 OTE

Here at Witton we are looking for an Account Manager to join one of our main clients within Cirencester. They are a leading name in IT distribution and are continually growing and expanding especially in their UK Operation. The main role of the job is to link technology vendors to their distribution partners who resell software and solutions to business and other customers. This office based Account Manager role is an excellent opportunity to join the IT distribution sector and develop yourself an experienced IT sales professional.

About the role;
This is a role focusing on sales and resellers partnership development. You will be developing existing partners and selling standard products/solutions. Due to this being a specialist role they offer excellent training and like to promote from within.
You will need to:
* Develop a partnership and close the sales
* Generate and provide customer quotes following our processes
* Follow up on customer quotes
* Be a point of contact for customers and resellers enquiries
* Develop a good business relationship with our Vendors
* Identify cross selling opportunities
About you:
For this role, you will need some Sales experience with an appetite to succeed and earn money. You need to be self-motivated and willing to talk to partners and new customers.
Other skills required are:

* Good Microsoft office skills
* Relationship building


* Identify and establish new customer accounts
* Maintain and grow business with existing accounts
* Support external sales in managing account administration
* Generate and provide customer quotes for standard/pre-designed solutions
* Follow up on customer quotes where required
* Consult with customers in selling and supporting Westcon products and services
* Provide product presentations and sales training for assigned accounts.
* Identify cross selling opportunities within Westcon's products and services portfolio
* Keep customers up-to-date with product-related information
* Coordinate with training, marketing, business development, and product management to effectively support the customer

Business Management:
* Maintain up-to-date profiles on accounts showing revenue projects and quotas
* Gain general understanding of customer business and strategic plans as they relate to Westcon products and services
* Monitor performance of allocated accounts and identify areas of opportunity
* Provide support in sales presentations, products demonstrations, customer training, and solution delivery
* Consult with appropriate internal resources for guidance and support in serving customers

Administrative/Self Development:
* Prepare for and participate in monthly sales meetings.
* Ensure forecasts are submitted in a timely and accurate manner
* Prepare business development plans for strategic accounts
* Attend relevant internal and external product training
* Meet all reporting deadlines with accuracy (e.g. call reporting, pipeline reporting, etc.)
* Attend all required internal and external meetings
* Maintain and develop own knowledge of Westcon and vendor product portfolio
