Julie Rose Recruitment is looking to recruit a Customer Service Assistant for a financial services client, based in the heart of Bromley.

You will be working in a highly regulated FCA environment where Treating Customers Fairly is high priority. You will get excellent training on the product and be awarded with good company benefits.

20 days’ holiday rising to 25 days

Yearly bonus - 7% of salary (not guaranteed and dependent upon company's performance)

Main duties for the Customer Service Assistant:

Answering a variety of telephone calls into the Customer Services area which could relate to requests for financial information/policy adjustments, new business enquiries, payment queries, change of name and addresses etc.
Provide underwriting administration support for Protection products
Setting up payment instructions and processing alterations to payment collection instructions
Reconciling payments received to pending applications
Maintaining an updating customer records
Liaising with customers, field force and external providers
Filing and scanning and disposal of documentation
Responding to customer correspondence
Person specification for the Customer Service Assistant:

We are looking for someone from a highly regulated FCA or similar regulated environment with customer service and administration experience
Someone that has worked with a high volume of telephone work, assisting clients
Comfortable in dealing with a wide variety of people from diverse cultures and backgrounds by telephone
Strong written and oral communication skills
