Data Manager Vacancy

Data Manager, SIMS Data Manager, MIS Manager, SIMS

Salary: £29,00 – 34,000 FTE (enhanced Trust pay scale)

Based at an all through school in Ealing with excellent transport links serving the area.

This newly created role is an exciting opportunity for an innovative Data Manager to join a leading girls’ school with a reputation for excellence. With 900 girls across the phases, you’ll be using your skills and experience to provide effective management of the student database to help inform and improve the running of the school.

The school is part of the leading Trust for the education of girls in the UK, receiving continuous re-investment for the development of modern facilities. From music studios and concert halls, to a 25 metre pool and a four court Sports hall - the school is a dynamic and modern environment for students to learn in.

As well as maintaining accurate data, you’ll be translating information into reports for the use of both staff and students. The role is collaborative in nature, as you’ll be liaising with staff and other parties on initiatives and development projects. Experience of assessment, recording and reporting within an educational setting is desirable but not essential, so if you have strong IT skills gained from a different sector the school would facilitate the required training on the systems they use.

The Trust offers an enhanced salary scale, together with professional development programmes. Further, established members of staff have the opportunity to qualify for reduced tuition fees for their daughters.

The interview process will involve a task, a tour of the school and an introduction to various members of the support staff team, followed by an initial interview with an Assistant Head and Director of Finance. You will then have a complimentary lunch with the department. If successful in the morning, you’ll be invited to meet the Head.
