Our expanding client is looking to further strengthen their Project Team in the North West.

Purpose of the Role/Role Overview:

To act as a company nominated designer

To liaise with clients, facilitate solutions and produce quotations to the company specifications for the full range of life safety systems, including fire alarms, emergency lighting, smoke vents etc

General Duties/Key Responsibilities:

As as nominated designer for the control and sign off all Fire/Emergency lighting designs.
Carry out site survey visits.
Produce quotations.
Develop existing client base to maximise revenue Growth and drive profit improvement
To be the company Technical representative for clients.
Liaise with the install teams and subcontractors
To drive project pricing with supply chain as appropriate
Production of site paperwork.
To ensure the delivery of works on time and to budget
Auditing works carried out to ensure they meet company specifications.

KNOWLEDGE

-Good understanding of the British Standards BS 5839 and BS 5266
- BS Electrical
- Motivation, mentoring and coaching a team

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

- Assimilate information quickly and form an action or judgment in the interest of the
company
- Able to communicate effectively on all levels
- Able to manage duties effectively
- Concise, attention to detail
- Identify and solve problems effectively
- Able to work under pressure

EXPERIENCE

- 5-10 years Relevant Industry Experience
- Social Housing Sector Experience
- Supervisory/Leadership role within a team of Engineers

QUALIFICATIONS

- 17th Edition (minimum)
- FIA Parts 1& 5
- FIA Parts 2 /3 and 6
- ICEL desirable
