My client is currently looking for an experienced ELECTRICAL MAINTENANCE ENGINEER for their site in Bradford, West Yorkshire.

THE ROLE:

Working as an Electrically biased Maintenance Engineer you will conduct pre-planned & reactive maintenance on a range of large machinery up to 1250 tonnes, on a shift-based system.
You will be responsible for complex repair, installation, commissioning & electrical work on small to heavy duty plant, PLC controlled process machinery, including extrusion, stretching, general engineering, hydraulic presses & induction heating equipment.

THE PERSON:

Electrically biased Engineer with strong hydraulic experience, ideally from an induction system background.
You must have good electrical & mechanical maintenance experience in small hydraulic systems & have worked in a production environment.
You may be required to work shifts and be looking for opportunities to train and develop your skills.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

* Must have served a recognised Engineering Apprenticeship within a manufacturing engineering environment or have C&G equivalent.
* Experience working as an Electrically biased Maintenance Engineer
* Strong fault finding ability.
* Conducted pre-planned & reactive maintenance on a range of small to heavy industrial equipment
* Experience working on a range of Small to Heavy Industrial Equipment
* Knowledge of complex repair, installation, commissioning & fabrication work
* Maintained PLC controlled process machinery, extrusion, stretching, general engineering & hydraulic equipment
* PPM Application
* General Facility and Plant maintenance.
* FLT Licence, Crane Licence, Confined Space Entry would be beneficial
* Have basic mechanical skills
* Worked in a production environment and as part of a team.

HOURS:

1) Work 8am – 4.30pm Days, Shifts from 6am - 2pm / 2pm - 11.15pm Mon-Thu. (37hrs/Week).
2) Work extra daily hours where required.
3) Work Sporadic Weekends (1 in 2 approximately).
4) Day shifts, weekends with long hours throughout shut down periods
