Role Description & ResponsibilitiesThe role of Operations support is to help with the smooth day to dayrunning of the Digital Architecture function. The role covers keyelements of strategy, communications & events (eg Hacks), risk,finance and oversight of the people plans for the team. This rolereports into the Digital Architecture operations Lead.Responsibilities The role holder is expected to be able to adapt and work across multiplegovernance frameworks to ensure the right quality outcomes are deliveredat the right time. These include:- Working closely with Risk and Audit to understand and proactively track those risk and audit points aligned to Digital Architecture. Working across multiple Digital teams to ensure owners are assigned and delivering to the agreed actions and timescales. Challenge where outcomes/timescales aren't sensible and proactively suggest alternatives Helping shape and lead the day to day governance of the team and ensure adherence to the wider governance processes Working across business channels to understand planning and prioritization to assist in alignment of IT strategy and support. Identifying opportunities to improve and streamline processes both within Digital architecture (or processes that are driven outside Digital Architecture) Taking on ad hoc requests where the outcomes are explained, using initiative to drive them forward to resolution to agreed timescales Tracking and reporting the performance of Digital Architecture into and outside of the teamSKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE Data analysis experience, with a keen eye for detail and instinctively curious Able to digest, understand and replay and summarise a large data set(s) to a wide range of stakeholders Understanding operational management processes and procedures within a business A desire to investigate and resolve problems with a pragmatic approach Strong stakeholder management and adaptable communication skills - able to communicate equally effectively to colleagues from multiple disciplines Knowledge and application of governance /audit / control environments Willingness to drive own research and learning both within and outside Digital CIO Understand and apply strategic thinking to operational decisions Working collaboratively with a wide range of internal teams, influencing them to follow agreed governance/processes Manage multiple activities and prioritise effectively, responding to short deadlines where necessary Appreciation of Agile change delivery methods and a technical background would be useful.EXPERIENCE Relevant experience of operational or governance in similar organisations Working in a global fast paced and start up / ambiguous environment Working in a similar business with a significant digital presence Build and maintaining relationships with global teams Delivery of excellent customer serviceCAPABILITIES AND STRENGTHS Strong stakeholder management skills Business & Financial Acumen Self motivated Communication Execution Customer Focus Planning and OrganisingWhat will you get for this role?
