This role is heading up the Business Partnering team within Controlling for Lidl UK. The successful candidate will be providing Business Partnering to all departments within the business. The role is responsible for the line management of three Senior Business Partners as well as acting as the Disciplinary Manager to six further Business Partners / Junior Business Partners.
What will you do?
  • Key point of contact for departments within the UK
  • Carrying out analysis and deciphering reports
  • Critically analysing business projects from a neutral perspective
  • Carrying out ROI analysis for various projects
  • Creating presentations and providing reports / feedback to decision makers
  • Monitoring and analysing all relevant KPIs for respective departments
  • Following up on measures that have been introduced and assessing their success
  • Integral part of the financial planning, acting as an interface between departments and Reporting
  • Playing an active role in the development of new Controlling reports / tools and dashboards
  • Managing and developing the Business Partnering team
  • Ensuring procedures and guidelines are adhered to

What will you need?
  • Must have a Degree within Business / Management or Economics
  • Advanced accountancy knowledge is essential
  • Excellent time management with the ability to ‘work smart’
  • Fluent in German with excellent communication skills
  • Advanced technical ability / systems knowledge (SAP / Microsoft Office)
  • Previous Personnel Management experience is essential
  • Programming knowledge (VBA / SQL) is beneficial
