Regional Sales Director: Data Analytics & Intelligence Location: London A competitive salary is offered Posting date: 29 March 2018 Please send your resumes until: 26 April 2018 The Sales Director will be responsible for leading and managing Oracle'sData Analytics and Intelligence Sales team and products. Selling intothe Big Data and Analytics markets, of which Oracle is acclaimed as #1Enterprise BI (Forrester Q3 2017), the Sales Director will have firstand second line management responsibilities for a team of SpecialistSales Representatives and Sales Manager. Responsibilities includedevelopment and implementation of the DA&I GTM strategy for Oracle'sCloud solutions to generate new business sales and consumptionthereafter for Oracle UK and Irish markets across all industry sectors. The Sales Director's primary responsibilities are leading the GTMstrategy, developing a virtual management team focused on executing ourstrategy, delivering expected levels of revenue performance, ensuringcustomer success & consumption, marketing and sales development,deployment of corporate strategies across the team, and managing salesperformance through new sales and consumption. The Sales Director willaccomplish this through interaction with the management team, salesteam, customers, partners, and lines of business across Oracle. TheSales Director provides leadership and direction in driving Oracle asthe leader in Data Analytics & intelligence BUSINESS MANAGEMENT: Reports to the VP of Specialist Sales Actively works with Product Management in the UK, EMEA and US to ensureProduct knowledge, GTMs and sales messaging is aligned in Region Works with the EMEA BDM on Campaigns, Partner Management/Programmes andcollateral for Field Sales, Indirect sales and Oracle Direct Sales. Accurately forecast and achieve revenue and consumption objectiveswhile defining sales territories and setting quotas Set and manage performance criteria/KPIs, including pipeline, accountpenetration, activity levels, consumption Build personal credibility and manage internal networks andrelationships Establish and manage cross-functional processes, services, pre-sales,finance, legal, marketing, education, channels, etc. and intra-regionalaccount sharing. Establish and maintain sales management processes, including forecastreview, activity management, territory and account penetration; activelysupport corporate policies and initiatives Create and manage short term and long term business plans Actively participate in key deals, strategy, execution, and buildingcustomer and external partner relationships Leverage company best practices to ensure customer success and maintainexecutive relationships in top region accounts PEOPLE MANAGEMENT: Actively recruit and hire highly qualified team members (both SalesReps and Sales Managers) while conducting performance management on anongoing basis within the region Motivate team members and encourage individual career development Facilitate the success of the team and individuals through coaching andcounselling and performance managing, while quickly getting new hiresready to contribute effectively to the region Carry out formal appraisals twice yearly and provide information onperformance and capability for the Talent Review Boards twice a year EXPERIENCE You will have a proven track record managing enterprise software salesteams and exceeding sales goals You will have extensive experience selling to C-level clients, creatingcompelling business cases and delivering value propositions You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to workdeals involving enterprise wide solution selling and complex contractnegotiations You will have a proficiency in recruiting, developing, and motivatingenterprise software sales teams You will have strong leadership competencies and have success managingcross functional teams This position will be based in either London and requires Fluency inEnglish As part of Oracle's employment process candidates will be required tocomplete a pre-employment screening process, prior to an offer beingmade. Detailed Description and Job Requirements:Overall responsibility for the regions sales, third party alliances, andcustomer satisfaction. Develops and implements a comprehensive strategythat maximizes Oracle*s opportunities across all products and product lines.Manages and develops a team of sales representatives includingrecruiting, hiring, and training new reps on the Oracle sales process.May manage a Regional Manager or Branch Manager. Sells and promotes thesales of Oracle products to customers including negotiating price, otherconcessions and terms and conditions of the sale. Participates instrategic and tactical planning for the division. Builds workingrelationships with license, consulting and education field managers inthe respective territory to develop joint account plans. Develops andexecute a territory plan to maximize revenue. Generates and achievesmonthly territory forecasts, and accurately predicts revenue on amonthly basis. Manages escalation. Conducts weekly progress meetingswith sales team.Assists in the development of short, medium, and long term plans toachieve strategic objectives. Regularly interacts across functionalareas with senior management or executives to ensure unit objectives aremet. Ability to influence thinking or gain acceptance of others insensitive situations important. Extensive sales or sales managementexperience within technology industry. Ability to hire and train newsales representatives. Ability to resolve customer satisfaction issues.Demonstrated leadership skills. Effective written and verbalcommunication skills, ability to present to large and small audiences.Ability to negotiate price, other concessions and terms and conditions.Strong quantitative, analytical and conflict resolution abilities.
