Are you a creative graduate in Psychology who has a passion for working with young people? Do you have a keen interest in developing your SEN understanding? Are you looking to gain experience in working with young people with social and mental health difficulties?

This is a full time position starting as soon as possible. You will be required to work on a 1:1 or small group basis with pupils with emotional and behavioral difficulties, including pupils who may sometimes be challenging on a physical level. Long term contract with the potential to go permanent.

The school is a large 2 form entry Primary School located in the Northampton area. You will be joining a supportive and enthusiastic team that is dedicated to creating a stimulating environment and encourages everyone to reach the best of their ability. Based in Central Northampton with excellent transport links.

To be considered for this role, you will need to have a right to work in the UK (A valid visa/passport), two recent child based references and relevant DBS/Police checks.

The ideal person will have excellent behavior management skills, be punctual, reliable, calm and resilliant. They will need to have A passion for helping young people progress and develop. Previous experience of working with young people with challenging behavior and social, emotional and mental health difficulties is desirable.
