A medium sized school in Salford is seeking to appoint an LSA (Learning Support Assistant) to work with a child within a Primary setting supporting EAL. The hours are from 8:30am - 3:30pm every day, to cover supporting a child with EAL in the classroom and on the playground.

The little boy has a broad range of needs as well as EAL support as socially he is quite shy and struggles to integrate with his peers, he is delayed in his learning. You will be working alongside an experienced team of Teachers and LSAs who are supportive, friendly and hardworking. This role is a long-term post initially but could potentially become permanent.

The ideal candidate would have:
*A proven record of teaching SEN students with a range of needs
*A good understanding of P levels
*The ability to teach effective lessons taking into account the individual needs of learners
*Have a basic understanding of PECS to support EAL
*Registered DBS or be prepared to carry out a new DBS application.
