Hays Education - IT Technician - Leeds
Your new company
Hays Education support services are currently recruiting for an IT Technician job in Leeds. Working on a temporary basis to cover holidays, you will need to combine your school based IT Technician experience and knowledge to support the schools IT requirements, along with supporting other technicians.
Your new role
The right candidate must have school based IT Technician experience previously. The ability to provide support and take instruction, installing new software and setting up new hardware. Responding to general IT queries and issues. User management including log in details, relevant IT qualifications and a proactive and organised nature overall.
As an ICT Technician you will be working closely with Network Managers to develop and streamline the operations of the ICT Department and the school as a whole. You will be required to identify, recommend, develop, implement and support cost-effective technology solutions. Day to day functions is linked with ensuring all ICT functions across the school are maintained to offer effective and efficient resources to all users.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in your application for this job, previous experience working in ICT departments in school would be an advantage but not essential. Experience working in ICT will be required or relevant qualification such as a degree in ICT or a GNVQ in ICT.
