One of the leading Healthcare providers is currently seeking a Registered Mental Health Nurse, Ward Manager to join a reputable Hospital located in Beckton.

The Mental Health Hospital provides high quality care for women with complex mental health needs and other complex issues, such as self-harm and eating disorders. They offer a range of treatments within the wards such as Forensic and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy.

If you are successful for this role you will receive a competitive salary of £46,000 - £48,000 per annum with great additional benefits such as; Teaching and CPD programmes financial support for further training, a contributory pension scheme, free life insurance, subsidised meals on duty and many more.

As the Ward Manager, you will be ensuring evidence based risk management support procedures are developed and routinely applied within their service without losing the fundamentals and ethos of recovery. You will be responsible for managing clinical performance and operations within the service. You will be expected to manage and coordinate the referral and assessments processes to maintain the service competitive edge. You will be co-ordinating the MDT working, as well as maintaining working relationships with team members and other services within the hospital. You will be expected to act as bleep holders at nights and weekends on a rotational basis.
2 years’ experience in leading teams, managing change and sustaining high quality services at band 6 nurse equivalent or above is essential. As well as being highly self-driven and motivated clinical leader who is able to lead and manage the mental health service.
It would be advantageous if you have experience in working within a secure service or personality disorder service.
Applications from experienced Clinicians who have an interest in working within the Recovery led setting or specialist DBT setting working within the principles of dialectical behaviour therapy are welcome.

To be considered for this role you must be a Registered Mental Health Nurse with at least 2 years’ experience within a secure/personality disorder service.
