Provide exceptional care in a team that’s passionate about putting the patient first

The hospital follow a simple model that has inspired great loyalty from both our patients and staff. Quite simply, we invest in the development of our services, so that our highly-skilled team have everything they need to do their roles to an exceptional level. State-of-the-art facilities are set in modern surroundings, while we continually further the knowledge of our teams with first-class training opportunities. The result is a workforce of employees who are excited by the scope of their career development, and a committed customer base who are delighted by the level of service they’re receiving.

Working across the Theatre, Critical Care and Clinical Education departments at this hospital, you will see to it that we provide the highest standards of planned care by offering outstanding clinical and managerial guidance to your team. Utilising our resources and facilities (such as staffing and equipment) most appropriately, you will take part in the on-call rota while also being a key member of the Senior Management Team. It’s this clinical/managerial dual aspect of the role which makes it so interesting, as no two days will ever be the same. As such, you will balance responsibility for maintaining the CE license in the Sterile Services Department and achieving JAG status for Endoscopy, with attending management meetings and delivering the hospital’s strategic plan.

As your working day will include everything from assessing and addressing patients’ healthcare needs to finding better ways to deliver these services, you will be a Clinical Practitioner with evidence of post-qualification professional development. Boasting good people management skills, you will develop your team with appropriate training opportunities, and you will ensure that they are always working within relevant legislation. With good business and financial acumen, you will have clinical and managerial experience in either theatre including SSD, level two or three critical care unit, resuscitation or clinical education.

You will also have proven experience of nurturing continuous improvement, plus some HR and marketing products knowledge and business development skills.
