Legal Secretary - Brighton

We are working with a Brighton based law firm who are seeking a legal secretary to join their busy litigation team.
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate previous legal secretarial experience within litigation coupled with the ability to work in a busy and challenging environment. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who possess exceptional secretarial and organisational skills. You will work predominantly with one partner and also support the associates in the team.
Successful candidates will have ideally performed similar duties within a law firm. You will need to possess excellent typing skills coupled with extensive IT skills including Microsoft Word and Outlook. Any experience with legal applications will be highly desirable. A strong academic background, ideally including a legal qualification is required and in addition to the secretarial skills described, you will need relevant paralegal experience, including drafting letters and notes and sorting and reviewing records.
In addition to secretarial tasks, you will assist with drafting documents, liaise with clients, experts, etc. by phone and email and carry out legal research You will also assist with general correspondence and
administrative support, including filing and file management.
