Role description

Ocado's digital marketing team strive to provide the best digital experience for shoppers and we're looking for an individual to help shape our strategy and turbo-charge performance. In this data-rich, fast-paced testing and learning environment, the successful candidate will be responsible for proposing, planning and running digital campaigns to drive customer awareness, conversion & retention. They will develop a deep understanding of customer behaviour and help Ocado personalise the digital experience for shoppers. The right candidate will use data to drive decisions and always look for opportunites to improve the shoppers' digital experience. We're looking for someone who is smart, analytical and highly motivated to take on responsibility, make an impact and have fun. Channels include paid search, display & social advertising, and SEO. Platforms include Google Adwords, Google Doubleclick, Google Analytics, Facebook Business Manager and others.

Role & Responsibilities

Be an expert in digital marketing channels & platforms, enabling the wider Ocado Marketing team to run digital campaignsPropose, plan & run digital marketing campaigns with the wider Ocado Marketing teamUpdate relevant stakeholders on campaign progressAnalyse the outcome of each campaign, provide reporting and recommendations to relevant stakeholdersIdentify new opportunities to drive Ocado revenues and reduce costs via digital marketingAnalyse data / reports from the customer insight team to provide recommendations and drive future digital marketing initiativesPerform relevant research to understand grocery shoppers' motivations and desiresPrepare creative briefs for producing assets needed for marketing initiativesRequired Competencies

Previous experience with digital marketing & at least one of the following digital platforms: Google Adwords, Google Analytics, Doubleclick, Facebook Business ManagerAnalytical, logical, strong numerical skillsStrong problem solving skillsDisplays creative and innovative thinkingUnderstanding of A / B testing, and test and controlStrong written and verbal communication skillsExcellent attention to detailAble to manage and work on multiple projects simultaneouslyExperience with Microsoft ExcelHighly motivated, enthusiastic & keen to learnKeen interest in digital marketing, grocery retail, customer behaviour & psychologyBenefits
