Market Leaders for International Investor Migration. Publishing and Events Company is now looking for a social media help drive conference registrations within our exciting events department.

Responsibilities

The role involves managing our social media across platforms FB, Insta, Twitter and sendingblue - with the specific aim of increasing our reach organically. WordPress experience is a plus.

You’ll have the outgoing personality and pro activity to build positive working relationships, and be able to educate and influence stakeholders on the benefits of social content.

It is the role of the Social Media Intern to espouse and amplify the brand’s unique personality. Growing and evolving the ways in which we exist on a range of social media platforms, taking into account each platform’s different idiosyncrasies and the habits and demands of its users. Emphasis is on referral traffic, of course, but performing well on social is about so much more than that. The right kind of engagement is paramount and with a number of social-first campaigns in development for the coming year, the Social Media Intern will be expected to take charge in creating unique, trailblazing and engaging stand-alone content.

You’ll have excellent editorial skills, lots of creative ideas and be passionate about creating brilliant content.

The Social Media Intern will play a key role in production, publishing and reporting of social media content to the run up to our next event taking place in June. You will work across a number of important areas, developing content for a variety of different audiences, for our major events in London at the East Winter Garden.

    Re-define Social Media Strategy to retain and increase engagement, visibility, referral traffic and followings;Monitor each social media channel’s unique psychology and algorithms in order to ensure the social strategy of the brands continually evolves;Create brand presence across untapped or emerging social platforms where appropriate;Oversee the execution of all social posts across all platforms, and use deep data analysis, derived from a number of different technical tools, to devise a content strategy that will generate the highest engagement;Be intrinsically aware of current and future trends in social and how they apply to the brandsObsess over tech blogs, data, analytics and changing algorithms, to develop an effective content strategy around statistics and goals, while staying true to the editorial values and brand tones;Use and create the appropriate visual and editorial content to drive maximum engagement to each post across each platform;Work with the sales and events teams to ensure an appropriate and effective social presence is being woven into commercial briefs;Oversee social coverage and conversation around live events.

    You have a keen interest in online style, lifestyle and an awareness of viral newsYou are immersed in and passionate about the world of social media, and have proven experience of driving strong social engagement and referral trafficYou understand the psychology of each social platform: who it's aimed at, who are the super-users, what are the quirks and how to manipulate them to a publisher's advantageYou have a proven track record of social viralityYou have a firm understanding of the appropriate visuals, key words and sentiment required to drive engagement in all forms across each platformYou are able to quickly respond to buzzing topics and relevant breaking newsYou are also able to advise the editorial team on responsive content where possible, as well as being able to create original (brand appropriate) reactive social postsExperience navigating sensitive and often controversial issues on social media is a bonusYou are on the pulse of Facebook’s changing algorithm and aware of newly emerging social platformsYou are a confident self-starter who’s not afraid to experiment
