MMP Consultancy are working with a public-sector organisation based in the London to recruit a Trainer to work on a temporary contract.
This role will be focused around delivering Fire Safety Training to the organisations employees to ensure they have adept skills and knowledge in this area. This is to ensure staff are aware of what part to play in preventing fire outbreaks on the premises. As the training element of this role only takes up 30% of this role, please see below further responsibilities:
Liaise with managers to determine training needs and schedule training sessions
Design effective training programs in liaison with the Fire Safety Advisors
Select and book venues, prepare educational material such as module summaries, videos etc.
Conduct evaluations to identify areas of improvement
Outside of training role, administration duties including covering helpdesk role and log jobs within the CAFM system
Understanding of effective teaching methodologies and tools
Proficient in MS office and e-learning software
Strong communication, presentation and public speaking skills
Please note, having fire safety knowledge isn't essential for this role, but desirable
