Training Administrator

Our prestigious client has an exciting opportunity for a Training Administrator in the Shareholder Solution area of the business. You will be reporting to the supervisor and be part of a busy, operational team carrying out duties relating to legal, dividend and correspondence work within the Registration Services area.

The role involves consistent support to all colleagues, monitoring errors and providing feedback where necessary to improve performance. The operations team is split into various teams who focus on different aspects of share administration, such as: Legal: Day to day this team scrutinise legal documents for acceptability and apply to the relevant register. Dividend: Day to day, this team deals with cheque queries and reissues. Correspondence: Day to day this team deals with general queries, mainly via email or telephone.

What being a Training administrator will involve:

Day to day, you will plan and deliver training and coaching to administration colleagues within the department so that they are able to provide a high-quality service for all our clients, shareholders and outside agencies in a confident and faultless mannerMaintenance of all shareholder informationCommunicating via phone, email and letter with shareholders, external third-party agents and internal colleaguesResponding to and ideally resolving any queries as they come up, or referring them to the Team Leader when appropriateOffering constructive feedback to resolve complex issuesAssisting in the maintenance of filing, record keeping and the destruction of itemsMaking sure administration is processed to service standards, maintaining order of priorityThe experience and skills required are as follows: -

G.C.S.E Maths and English grade ‘C’ or above, or equivalent Experience required in data entry (alpha & numeric)Ability to work under pressureExcellent communication skills, a confident telephone mannerExcellent attention to detailGood organisation skillsExcellent customer/client service skillsGood understanding of Microsoft Office especially Word and ExcelKnowledge of shareholder practicesInvestment Operations Certificate IOC Compulsory Modules (Stage 1 & 2):Introduction to Investments and SecuritiesFCA Regulatory EnvironmentInvestment Operations Certificate IOC Technical Modules Stage 3 (one of the following modules)CREST SettlementAsset Servicing (Corporate Actions)Operational RiskGlobal CustodyGlobal Settlement Company Secretarial Practise and SHARE Registration Practice ICSA certificate (CCSP)
