Opportunity As a result of our expansion plans we are now hiring for our UK operationscentre, based in Rugby Gateway, this is a unique opportunity to join a brand new organisation and operation to support one of the leading restaurant brands in the UK, and to become a key contributor during the start up. QSL are looking forpositive and enthusiastic individuals to join their Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Finance teamto support our Clients 900 restaurant accounts across the UK. We are looking to fill these positions reporting to the UK Finance Manager to start training from beginning December 2017. What is the Requirement? The position requires a familiarity with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivables planning and the ability to work effectively with our Suppliers and Clients accounting departments to ensure settlement activities are completed timely and in line with Company Accounting principles. As the first point of contact with the suppliers, and clientsyou will have a passion for service excellence, and accuracy, combined with the ability to deal withnew requests, and the ability to identify potential settlement issues and solutions through data analysis. Confidence and ability to work in international teams, especially including liaison with the Shared Service Centre to clarify and resolve issues deliver results based on active discussions with purchase, invoice control, master data team, key account management and operations You will need to be motivated to deliver your objectives and comfortable with taking responsibility, and able to build effective relationships with your daily contacts. The QSL team environment is lively and co-operative, with a strong work ethic. What are the roles and responsibilities? Working within a busy team, you will contribute to the overall delivery of the team targets by achieving your own objectives effectively. Support the Maintenance and closure of accounts on Monthly and Annual basis Daily postings of bank statements and supplier invoices Preparation and issuing manual invoices and credit notes, regular payment proposals and payment runs Maintain documentation and processes to support Accrual and Deferral positions Participate in the preparation of VAT statements, and intrastat declarations where applicable Control Credit and Collection process, liaison and escalation with operations Monthly reconciliation of Supplier and Customers Statements Report and escalate overdue Accounts payable, Accounts Receivables Participation in Internal and audits What do I need to be part of the team? You need to be a driven and motivated team player with a hardworking, can do attitude and a passion for delivering excellent customer service. Possess strong level headed initiative, an affinity for problem solving as well as an ability to work to set targets and remain calm under pressure. Good time management skills in order that you are able to organize and prioritise your workload effectively. A natural communicator with great telephone skills and an ability to build positive relationships with customers and colleagues alike. Energetic with a high level of enthusiasm, resilience and a good sense of fun! Confidence and the ability to negotiate with stakeholders for the benefit of the customer and the company Good IT skills including fluency with MS office suite, previous experience of working with an integrated accounting packages is a plus Good Educational background, CIMA or ACCA Part Qualified A willingness to learn, grow and develop with the company What do we offer?
