IT Infrastructure Support Analyst - St Helen's - £32k *12 Month Fixed Term Contract* My client urgently requires an Infrastructure Support Analyst to work out of their busy offices based in St Helen's, but with travel to other offices based in the North West. You will be responsible for providing a high level of service & to support and maintain the existing infrastructure as well as identifying & implementing new ideas. Essential Skills Required Include, 4+ years of experience supporting Microsoft Windows 2008 Server/Network Services Installation and Administration 3+ years' experience supporting Windows 2008 Active Directory and the associated services (Inc DHCP, DNS, Group Policy). Desktop support of Microsoft Windows XP/Windows 7 desktop operating systems and associated applications (MS Office 2007/2010) Microsoft Windows AD and User Management /Administration Microsoft Exchange 2007/2010 Administration, Housekeeping and troubleshooting. Proven networking skills, including a sound knowledge of IP Routing, VLANs, QoS, POE and ACL's Server Virtualisation Environments such as VMware or Microsoft Hyper-V. Knowledge of Storage Area Networks (SAN) Customer focused, with experience of providing advice and guidance to customers over the telephone, e-mail and Internet with a proven track record of service delivery Organised and methodical, with the ability to work to targets and goals Enthusiastic, self-motivated team player with the ability of working within a demanding environment and be able to demonstrate a logical approach to problem solving Patience and ability to remain calm under pressure, whilst showing initiative at all times and an ability to apply a lateral thought process to problem resolution Must be knowledgeable in the import and export of data via XML and web services Experience with implementation and support of data migration scenarios from disparate database systems into a consolidated data solution They are looking for someone who is customer focused, with experience of providing advice and guidance to customers over the telephone, e-mail and Internet with a proven track record of service delivery as well as being an enthusiastic, self-motivated team player with the ability of working within a demanding environment and be able to demonstrate a logical approach to problem solving This is an excellent opportunity, offering any candidate the opportunity to work in a highly technical environment, using the latest technologies where you can bounce ideas off the other technicians in the team.
