Laila's Fine Foods are a successful, family-run manufacturer of chilled and frozen ready meals for the UK retail and foodservice sectors. Having recently invested on a state of the art factory extension that has taken our production to over 120,000 meals per day we have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Ledger Clerk to join our existing Accounts team.

The Opportunity

The main purpose of the role will be to work alongside and support the Financial Controller in all aspects of sales invoicing ensuring that all monies owed are accounted for and invoiced accurately and in a timely manner.

Working as part of a close-knit team, the Sales Ledger Clerk will also undertake administrative tasks in line with company objectives ensuring a high-quality service to internal and external stakeholders at all times.

Responsibilities

    Maintaining & Reconciling Sales Ledger accountsAllocating payments to relevant accountsPosting of all Sales InvoicesPosting Credit Notes and sending out.Query resolutionRepayment Negotiation

Requirements:

    Recently Qualified AAT or, if not, qualified by experience essential (5 years)Experience as a Sales Ledger Clerk/Finance DepartmentGood track record and referencesStrong Microsoft Excel experienceExperience of using Sage Line 50Understanding of VAT regulationsStrong financial reporting and reconciliations experience
