Our client is an award winning UK wide business, that has recently expanded its operations to the US amongst other parts of the world. Reporting out of their Head Office based in Liverpool, they are currently looking for an experienced Management Accountant to join their Finance team. Reporting directly to the Finance Director, in what is a newly created role due to the business recording impressive growth year on year, responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with preparing and reviewing the month-end management accounts
  • Profit & Loss reporting for all departments
  • Cash flow forecasting and projecting findings
  • Balance sheet intercompany reconciliation
  • Preparation of accruals and prepayments
  • Production of statutory accounts and journals
  • Assisting in the review , improvement and implementation of internal controls and processes
  • Creating, reviewing and updating effective policies and procedures to maintain full compliance with the DPA and GDPR
  • Leading on the development of the organisations GDPR compliance plan and creating a robust information framework for the organisation
  • Providing regular reports on data protection issues, including the outcome of audits and compliance checks
  • Other ad-hoc projects

Our client wants to consider applicants who are CIMA Qualified or equivalent, and who possess a minimum of 2 years post qualified experience. Applicants must have previous experience of operating in a similar profile role within a high volume work environment. Strong MS Excel skills are essential and applicants will have a willingness to undertake Data Protection Officer training for GDPR compliance.
