If the answers are YES, then you may be the person we are looking for! What Will You Be Doing? As the Group Finance Manager, your role will be to ensure the complete compliance to all Imperial Financial policies and requirements, statutory regulation and financial reporting to our South African parent company, Motus. Key Aspects Set up treasury reporting and maintain contact with banking providers. Introduce daily cash reporting, group cashflow forecasting and reporting and consolidated manufacturer funding reporting. Consider various funding options and optimise funding rates. Ensure consistent production of statutory accounts for all group businesses utilising external contractor as appropriate. Ensure consistent production of corporation tax computations including development of standard tax packs utilising external contractor as appropriate and maintenance of and compliance with group tax strategy document. Lead activity throughout group for compliance with Senior Accounting Officer (SAO) regulations. Maintenance of group delegated authority document, ensure authorities are cascaded through the organisation and that banking mandates comply with group authorities. Project manage a UK group financial control policy manual update in accordance with UK and South African parent company best practice. Update and maintain monthly controls compliance reports and investigate exceptions. Development of South African accounting interface through Hyperion monthly reporting pack (to hand over to GH when complete) Production of various statutory returns including Payment Data, PSA, and financial support for P11d’s, ESOS and MID. Consider new accounting standards and their impact on the UK group. Oversight of sustainability system data to parent company (primary responsibility for contribution and validation rests with local finance teams). Standardisation of T&C’s across the businesses. Accounting support in corporate restructuring project. Consider the impact of consolidating group banking relationships and, subject to agreement to proceed, manage project consolidating group banking relationships. Investigation of suitability of various potential VAT schemes. Who Are We Looking for? The ideal candidate will need: ACA / ACCA / CIMA or similar profession accounting qualifications. Competence in practice of South African accounting standards and parent company reporting requirements In depth knowledge and use of Hyperion reporting package Working knowledge of Tagetik accounts reporting software would be an advantage. Highly developed skills to support verbal & written communications. Ability to build and maintain robust relationships with our key stakeholders. Ability to develop strategies to deliver consistent financial performance within a rapidly changing group. Has appropriate background knowledge and a thorough grasp of financial control systems and associated IT support services. Who Are We?
