Our client is seeking an experinced AP candidate with a wealth of Expenses experince. This is initially a 3 month temporary assignment with a possible options of temp to perm in the future.

JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for the checking and processing of incoming expenses in line with agreed service levels, departmental process and guidelines. Dealing with all employee queries in a timely manner. Providing a first class service to our internal and external customers and providing support in covering other key processing areas in the Accounts Payable team within the UK.

CORE FUNCTIONS
• Checking and auditing of received employee expense claims in line with the Business Travel and Expenses Policy published within the intranet and in conjunction with HMRC guidelines
• Processing and rejection of employee expense claims within agreed service levels, in line with Business Travel and Expenses Policy and HMRC guidelines
• Dealing with and resolving employee expense claim queries in a timely manner with a record maintained of all issues raised and relevant feedback and resolution recorded
• Chasing of non-received paper copy claims reconciled against on-line expense claims submitted ensuring all relevant and required receipts are attached
• Corporate Credit Card Administration to include applications, processing credit limit amendments, suspensions and re-activations in line with the Corporate Credit Card policy and guidelines
• Employee expense exception month end reporting and review against Business Travel and Expenses Policy and HMRC guidelines
• Ongoing review of expense ledgers to understand and manage any personal spend and reimbursement of this, any refunds and returned payments
• Providing cover as and when required to ensure that all areas of the Accounts Payable team meets deadlines in line with service level agreements

QUALIFICATIONS AND WORK EXPERIENCE
• Technical Experience of expenses
• Familiar with cross checking documents in line with policy guidance
