Horwich Up to £30,000 plus bonus OTE £36,000
A professional Mortgage Adviser / Mortgage Broker / Financial Adviser firm covering the whole of the UK providing mortgage and loan advice are seeking a Mortgage Adviser for their prestigious offices in Horwich. The team have many years' combined experience in the finance industry and that experience has been used to build a team of professionals and a workplace that people thrive in.

This is a telephone based sales role which will require you to be a confident and clear communicator who is able to build client rapport whilst obtaining personal and financial details. Being P.C literate you will source the best mortgage product for the client's needs using their sourcing software, the Mortgage Brain and produce the required paperwork in a professional and compliant manner. You will need to be a team player and liaise with the rest of the mortgage team to ensure clients mortgage completes smoothly.
40 hours per week Monday to Friday which will include 1 late shift (11am-8pm)
You will need to meet the firm's and the regulator's standards in the following areas of activity:
Client Interaction To ensure all communications with clients, including correspondence, meetings and telephone calls are conducted in accordance with the firm's TCF procedure and, where appropriate, that the firm's standard documentation is used.
Administration To ensure that all administration is conducted in accordance with the firm's procedures and precedents, that proficiency is achieved in the firm's computer and other systems, and that reference is made to the adviser's superior for advice or direction when appropriate. Business Quality Always to put the interests of the client first. To aim for a zero complaints record and a zero incidence of premature termination of regular premium policies. To be aware of the business statistics which the firm must report to the Financial Conduct Authority and to strive to ensure that the firm's business quality standards are achieved. To co-operate fully with the firm's Compliance Officer and Money Laundering Reporting Officer.
Business Production To participate in the process and agree to reasonable business targets and to use all endeavours to achieve these targets, consistent with the maintenance of proper standards of client care through the sale of mortgages, secured loans, commercial finance and general insurance. To expand the firm's clientele. To endeavour to make every client an on-going client of the firm and to maximise the incidence of the client referrals.
Commitment To work in such a way as to promote the good name of the firm and the profession. To be prepared to liaise with and provide advice to colleagues when reasonably required. To cooperate generally as a team player.
Developing your own competence To keep abreast of industry, professional and technical developments. To keep abreast of the development of the firm's IT and other systems. To attend such internal and external courses to prepare for and sit such exams as it may be agreed are appropriate to ensure the on-going competence and development of the adviser.
