Learning and Development Manager – Facilities Management

£45,000 - £50,000

A fantastic opportunity has become available to be based in a very prestigious office in Central London, working with one of the UK’s largest Facilities Management Organisations, supporting development on a national scale. There will be national travel involved once a week, and you’ll be involved in development plans and opportunities for current employees, with a real focus on business processes.

The Role:

This role will focus on the people side of change – including changes to business processes, systems and technology, job roles and organisation structures. The primary responsibility will be creating and implementing change management strategies and plans that maximise employee adoption and usage and minimise resistance

Main Duties:

* Work with key stakeholders and SME’s to ensure org principles are in line with our operating principles and customer needs
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal performance
* Work collaboratively with other Heads of Functions to facilitate delivery and compliance with engineering strategy
* Ensure set procedures for management information reporting, escalation and problem solving through the month
* Apply and deliver a structured methodology and lead change management activities
* Assess the change impact and stress test scenarios mitigating the risk of change
* Complete change management assessments
* Create change management strategy
* Identify, analyse, and prepare risk mitigation tactics
* Identify and manage anticipated resistance
* Create actionable deliverables for: communications plan, sponsor roadmap, coaching plan, training plan, resistance management plan

Required:

* Previous experience of defining and driving a Change Implementation Strategy which is aligned with a large-scale Transformation Programme
* Excellent Stakeholder engagement skills
* Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools
* Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal
* Acute business acumen and understanding of organisational issues and challenges
* Experience with large-scale organisational change efforts
