The successful candidate will report directly to the Engineering Manager and will collaborate with the Projects and Manufacturing teams to ensure support during the development of products and transfer of products into production. This is a Product Process Development role. £21-24,000. The role will suit a Manufacturing or Production Engineer or Technician. Process Engineering experience would be great


Your main duties and responsibilities will include:

Cooperating in the development of projects according to objectivesCost, deadline and resource planning in the context of development projectsProgress and result monitoring of independently managed projectsSpecification of process and material parameters according to economic aspects, taking into account the available technologiesRecognize and identify cost, deadline and quality risks, and initiate appropriate countermeasures to achieve project goalsEnsuring the capabilities of the production processes for all new developmentsTest preparation and coordination in pre-development and productionFurther education with regard to the state of the art technologiesCreation of samples, sample books, design samples and test samplesDirect coordination with the customer during the project phase or design phaseDocumenting of development results, creation of process data sheets, test reports as well as management of part lifecycles and creation of a process landscapeSupport in product and process transfer with verification to the productionThe successful candidate must demonstrate competencies in the following:

Good written and verbal communication skills, both to internal and external customersComputer literacy, including Microsoft Office to an intermediate levelAn ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a teamEffective problem solving skillsStrong organisational skillsGood numeracy and literacy skillsAbility to meet strict deadlinesAttention to detailIt is preferable that the successful candidate has several years previous experience in production and development or process optimisation.
