An opportunity is immediately available for an ambitious and driven Structural Engineer to become a highly regarded part of a long established Civil and Structural Engineering consultancy in Cardiff. Our client delivers a diverse range of projects across the residential, commercial and industrial sector and are looking to welcome the successful applicant to become an important part of the team. Our client boasts an impressive portfolio and is proud of its strong relations with both local and national clients and you will have the opportunity to cultivate these relationships and play an important part in the company’s growth. Our client is looking to offer a salary of up to £32,000 for this positon, in addition to offering a wide range of benefits and full support to the completion of chartership.
In order to be considered for this Graduate Structural Engineer role you will:
* Hold a good degree in Civil and Structural Engineering
* Possess at least 12 months experience within a UK based engineering consultancy
* Possess experience with steel, concrete, timber and masonry structures
* Possess a good understanding of AutoCAD
* Possess a desire to become a chartered engineer
* Possess good written and verbal communication skills
Key responsibilities of this Graduate Structural Engineer role include:
* Work directly alongside highly experienced and chartered engineers
* Work on the delivery of a wide range of projects from inception to completion
* Attend site projects as required
* Write reports, carry out calculations and conduct surveys as required
* Liaise closely with a wide range of valued clients
* Carry out structural design and analysis as required
