Baltic Training and Redu Group are thrilled to be in partnership to recruit a Front-End Web Development Apprentice to join their growing team based in the heart of Seaham!

About Apprenticeships:

You will train in way that supports you, while you develop the skills you need to be successful in the fastest growing sector in the UK. Duties
You will be working within an existing team of Development experts, carrying out the below duties:

  • Gain a good understanding of numerous programming/coding languages including HTML5, CSS3 & JavaScript.
  • Gain a good understanding of web development.
  • Gain a good understanding of PHP/MySQL.
  • Working with an existing team of Development experts.

Training to be Provided

  • Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship in Software Development
  • BCS Level 3 certificate in Software Development Context and Methodologies (Part 1 & 2)
  • BCS Level 3 certificate in Programming (Part 1, 2 & 3)
  • Level 2 Functional Skills (English, Maths and ICT)

Skills and qualifications required

  • Basic coding knowledge
  • Keen analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to learn and develop skills
  • Good telephone manner and professional conduct

The future is bright:

Upon completion of this apprenticeship programme, there are real progression opportunities available. Along with your employer, you may decide to progress onto our level 4 programme and take your training even further.

Salary, hours and benefits

  • £187.50 per week
  • Full time (37.5 Hours per week)

Location and Travel:
The modern office is located at Seaham, accessible via local public-transport routes.
