Location: Swindon

The role
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic pro-active Senior Support Engineer to join our global engineering sustaining team based in our UK office near Swindon. You will be passionate about the customer’s experience; triaging and identifying root cause of technical product issues

Key Responsibilities

- Working as the interface to global design organisation on escalated technical field issues from our front-line customer support organisation.
- Replicating customer issues with our product solutions [both hardware and software] and triaging those issues to root cause level.
- Use of analysers, electrical and acoustic test equipment to aid in the capture and resolution of issues.
- Work with worldwide based teams to champion resolutions of escalated issues and support process enhancements across functional teams including Development, Quality, Product Management.


What do we expect you to bring?

- 3+ years in-depth technical engineering support or direct design experience of telecom products.

- Experience of using engineering test tools or protocol analysers

- Experience of electronics to a system design level.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills especially with complex HW/SW interaction problems.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Ability to self-manage multiple tasks.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent technical experience.
- Able to travel, including internationally (<20%)



Preferred

- Industry experience related to telecommunications and/or audio products
- Knowledge of cloud computing architecture platforms and services
