Our client is looking for a personable experienced Finance Manager/ Controller to join their small but dynamic team. The company is now putting a change plan in place to drive the business forward. This will include delivering the strategic objectives set out by the business.

The Job:

This is an all & encompassing role responsible for the areas of Finance, HR, Payroll and IT systems.
This person will work closely with the Managing Director in driving and changing the business in order to deliver profitable growth as well as achieving the Strategic Objectives of the business.
Financial Control & Analysis
Budgeting, Forecasting & Reporting
Commercial Development
Business Planning
Tax & Treasury
Risk Management, Pension & Asset Protection

The Candidate:

Member of a recognised accountancy body; ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent.
At least, 5+ years' experience at 'senior management' level in a substantial finance role.
Strong leadership skills with a successful track record in building and nurturing internal and external relationships.
Thorough knowledge of key governance challenges and proven commitment to the highest ethical standards.
Ability to think strategically, combined with demonstrated problem solving skills.
Ability to thoroughly evaluate financial and operational scenarios and to make sound judgement calls.
A sensible and motivational approach to management and an ability to engage, both internally and externally, with a broad range of professional and support staff.
Candidates require excellent communication skills, combined with sensitive decision making abilities and must identify with the organisation's ethos.
Comfortable with IT & Technology and proficient with SAGE or equivalent software packages.

Our client is a small business with less than 30 employees and this role will involve the person getting fully immersed with the business on a day-to-day basis.

The person must have excellent people skills and must have experience of working at all levels.
