I am currently in the process of recruiting for a 'Marketing Co-ordinatior' for a large (£330m) Wholesaling and Distribution business, based in Waterbeach, just North of Cambridge.

The company market a vast portfolio of consumer orientated products (16,000 stock items) sold directly to 2500 Trade Dealers (B2B) across the UK and Ireland.

Within the company's Sales and Marketing Department the sole aim is to assist the Dealers to promote products and 'sell more' and therefore as an organisation they do everything within their power to help them in the achievement of this goal.

The company now seek to appoint a Marketing Co-ordinator, that will work in close conjunction with both internal and external stockholders.

Reporting directly to the Marketing Director, the position will be predominately office based in Waterbeach , however there will also be the occasional requirement to travel to different locations across the UK.

The Marketing Co-ordinator role is pivotal to the successful communication and deployment of marketing materials across our internal and external stakeholders and will involve balancing multiple objectives, projects and timescales.

The role requires liaison with key customer groups to ensure that they have content and materials to meet their needs. The role will require working closely with contacts within these groups to ensure that coding, pricing and planning is agreed and communicated accordingly.

As the keystone of the department the role will require a passion to keep on pushing to get the results, and it will require juggling multiple deadlines and priorities, as well as your ability positively influence others.

The role will also require the Co-ordinator to be responsible for the planning and management of all company events, including; Exhibitions, Seminars and Masterclasses.

This individual will also be responsible for the constant refreshment and updating of company websites and social / digital media platforms targeting Dealers, End Users, Employees and Vendors with relevant content and stories in line with the communications plan.

This is a busy, hands-on role which will suit an energetic, enthusiastic team player with a can-do and proactive attitude to achieving personal and business goals.

• Exceptional verbal and written communications skills
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Knowledge of email marketing packages, and social media platforms is
• Knowledge of Photoshop, Adobe design,and Wordpress packages is
• Must be creative, self-motivated and possess good communication,
organisational and analytical skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects, timelines and stakeholders
• Meticulous eye for detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines is a
• Ability to work independently and as part of team
• Advanced skills in working with data and spreadsheets to create reporting
and recommendations
• Essential to have 1-3 year experience in a product marketing role,
preferably in a B2B environment
