Legal Secretary - Conveyancing

We are currently recruiting for a legal secretary on behalf of our exceptional and professional client to join their Conveyancing department based in Coalville, Leicestershire. As a legal secretary you will be required to provide timely and effective support to members of the team on all Conveyancing matters.

Job Type: Permanent

Hours: Full time, 9am - 5pm.

Key accountabilities:

Audio /copy typing of letters, file notes and attendance notes.Attending to new clients, taking initial details and providing clients with a conveyancing quotation.
Taking telephone calls from new and existing clients and other agencies.
Managing diaries and arranging of appointments for the team.
Opening new files and closing of completed files.
Drafting contracts, transfer deeds and SDLT forms.
Carrying out pre completion searches.
Exchanging contracts.
Drafting bills and completion statements.
Completing AP1's and submitting online using the Land registry portal.
Requesting mortgage funds.
General admin duties such as filing, photocopying scanning etc.
Skills/ Experience:

Previous legal secretary experience in a similar environment. Good organisational skills.
High attention to detail.
Good IT and database skills.
Able to prioritise tasks and use own initiative as and when needed.
Excellent communication and listening skills.
