In the role of the Principal Systems Engineer you will undertake systems engineering responsibilities for the complete product lifecycle. You will be working with all project stake-holders including the customer, they will capture the System requirements, allocating these requirements to the Sub-System level and identify and agree verification methods


Principal Systems Engineer - Engineer Qualifications and Experience:

* The prospective candidate must be experienced in systems engineering processes, life-cycle and procedures, including system specification and verification methods and procedures.
* Experience of development and test of airborne Electro-Optics systems is preferable, but not essential.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, along with experience of working in multi-disciplinary teams.
* Experience of requirements management tools such as DOORS is essential, as is proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word and other documentation tools.
* A systematic and tenacious approach to problem solving is absolutely essential as is an enthusiasm for the acquisition of knowledge from a diverse spectrum of sources.
* The successful candidate must have a very high degree of interpersonal skills and the ability to present reasoned arguments in a robust and professional fashion. An organisational skill along with the flexibility to deal with the constant change that characterises the development of complex systems is absolutely essential.
* A degree in a scientific or engineering subject is required.
