Quality, Environment Health and Safety Engineer (QHSE)
Fix term contract circa £40k pro rata

Exciting opportunity for a QHSE Engineer to join a global organisation on an initial 6 month fix term contract paying circa £40k pro rata
To control the Integrated Management System documentation ensuring compliance with external accreditations and certifications to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001.To act as the Lead Auditor, controlling and maintaining all internal audit programmes and the Customer audits. Driving improvements into the business from data analysis and lead Root Cause and Corrective Action investigations within a production environment.
Responsibilities of the QHSE Engineer:
Contribute to the development and implementation of the Integrated Management System
Instructions, Master Documents, Master Forms and other technical documentation.
Conduct internal audits and manage internal audit schedules, ensuring findings arising from these audits are closed out in a timely manner.
Supplier management
Manage internal calibration system
Compliance with company policies and applicable standards.
Support all external accreditation and customer Audits.
Collect quality data and provide analytical analysis.
Produce Quality Plans to capture customer deliverables/requirements.
Build and maintain effective cross-functional relationships with internal departments such as Operations/Manufacturing, Sales and Engineering.
Identify and implement business process improvements.
Conduct Risk Assessment (COSHH, General, etc.)
Lead quarterly QEHS committee meetings
Manage any day-day EHS issues.
Conduct root cause analysis

Education/Qualifications of the QHSE Engineer:
Internal audit trained essential.
Good understanding of ISO: 9001/14001/18001management systems.
Significant experience working in quality within a manufacturing environment.
Experience/understanding of quality tools such as, 8D, 5 Whys, Fishbone, DPU, PPM, etc. etc.
Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft office,
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Good knowledge of COSHH and standard Risk Assessments processes
NEBOSH general certificate or diploma
Experience in Learn/Six Sigma principles
