Associate Auditor Position

Location

Working for various Food Alert clients nationally – volume based on location

Objectives of position

· To provide quality food hygiene and health and safety auditing services to Food Alert clients as directed

· To complete in a timely manner allocated audits of UK based locations

· To represent Food Alert in a professional manner at all times

Reporting to

· Food Alert Account Director/Manager

Key requirements of the job holder

· Act professionally and legally compliant at all times including

· Relevant food safety qualifications and experience

· Relevant health and safety qualifications and experience

· Ability to effectively communicate at all levels

· Demonstrable auditing experience

· Experience of conducting audits in contract catering, casual dining restaurants and public house (Other types of premises may be considered as relevant experience)

· Observe high standards of personal hygiene during audits including compliance with client specific requirements where relevant.

· Commit to only use equipment that is calibrated/in date

· Professional approach to time keeping and managing client expectations

· Maintain a professional demeanour at all times auditing for food alert

· Experience using technology to capture audit data – online/offline platforms

· Manage audit allocations to ensure an even spread of delivery across a specified period

· Attendance on calibration sessions, to be web based

· Commit to work days 6 months in advance to enable forward planning (Agreement from Food Alert that that commit days available back to associate if not booked 21 days before committed day)

· Ability to work to pre-determined timescales for the audit round

· Commitment to following client specific escalation process

· Commitment to agreed KPI’s including 48 hour turnaround of reports

· Use of an iOS enabled tablet running iOS 10 or above

Additional requirements – not essential

· Experience of auditing Food Alert clients (further information on application)

· Ability to audit at weekends or evenings
